In pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), TGFβ-driven desmoplasia fosters chemoresistance and immunosuppression, limiting therapeutic efficacy. NIS793, a fully human monoclonal antibody targeting TGFβ, demonstrated anti-fibrotic and immunomodulatory activity in preclinical models and early-phase trials.
