Q) How can I download PDB data with specified format: PDB, mmCIF or XML, using the FTP protocol?

A) The PDB data in PDB, mmCIF or XML format is available at:
ftp://ftp.pdbj.org/pub/pdb/data/structures/divided/

• pdb/ --- PDB format
• mmCIF/ --- mmCIF format

The XML formatted data is stored in three directories according to the contents of data.

• XML/ --- all data, including header and atomic coordinates
• XML-extatom/ --- atomic coordinates only
• XML-noatom/ --- header only, no atomic coordinates
