Basic Usage

In this page, we refer to basic usage of PDBj.

[Search entries by PDB ID]

If you know the PDB ID which you want to get information, you can use the PDBj Mine. The procedure is described below.

1. At the top of the page you can find a search field.
2. Just input a PDB ID (e.g. 1GOF).
3. Hit [ENTER] or click on the search button right from the field.
4. You will find a summary page for the entry (such as this: mine:1GOF ). For the details about the Summary Page, refer to About PDBj Mine .

[Search entries by keywords]

You can get the PDB entry list which is involved in your interest keywords. The procedure is described below.

1. At the top of the page you can find a search field.
2. Just input a Keyword (e.g. galactose).
3. Hit [ENTER] or click on the search button right from the field.
4. You will find a PDB ID list page for the keyword. Click the PDB ID, you will find a summary page for the entry.
