PDBj (Protein Data Bank Japan) maintains the single global PDB/BMRB/EMDB archives of macromolecular structures and provide integrated tools, under the Joint Usage and Research activities of the Institute for Protein Research. The database is supported by JST-NBDC (JPMJND2205) and AMED-BINDS. PDBj's logo PDBj

design incorporates cytochrome c (PDBID: 1cyc), the first structure determined in Japan (each type of log data is available from here).

New Year holidays

PDBj will suspend biocuration processing from Saturday, December 27, 2025 to Sunday, January 4, 2026(JST) during New Year's holiday season. The deposition services will continue to be available.
