PYOVERDINE-DEPENDENT IRON TRANSPORT IS ALSO CRUCIAL FOR BIOFILM DEVELOPMENT, FURTHER EXPANDING THE IMPORTANCE OF THESE SIDEROPHORES IN PSEUDOMONAS BIOLOGY. |

FPVA IS A TONB-DEPENDENT TRANSPORT PROTEIN AND HAS THE ABILITY TO BIND PVD IN ITS APO- OR IRON-LOADED FORM. |
